The entrance to the park. It looks much the same today, with brighter colours and more gardens. In the background is Matilda, which was the mascot to the 1984 Brisbane Commonwealth Games.
The Speed Slide and bodyslides behind it. The Speed Slide was removed several years ago to make way for Speed Coaster, which uses the same support structure, and the bodyslides structure was filled in to create a hill, becoming White Water Mountain.
