Cave of Waves Gallery
March 25 2007
Cave of Waves is a wavepool from Scottish manufacturer Murphys Waves.
The attraction is themed to a cave looked over by Huey, the 'god of surfing'.
Along the shore are a number of fountains.
The opposite end of the pool features a textured concrete wall.
Despite the ride's name, it's not actually in a cave.
Like most wavepools it alternates between swell and flatness to allow everyone to enjoy the pool.
The park's claims suggest that the wavepool produces surfable waves up to 1.5m in height. Its standard operating mode produces unbroken swell little over a foot in height.
